A Parent's Guide to Fountain Green Schools: Questions and Answers

Which schools will my child attend if I buy a home in Fountain Green?

Fountain Green Elementary (K–6), then North Sanpete Middle School (7–8) in Moroni, then North Sanpete High School (9–12) in Mt. Pleasant.

How do I check which schools a specific address feeds?

For in-town homes, the path above is straightforward. For ranch land or acreage outside town, call North Sanpete School District at (435) 462-2485 with the property address to confirm the school and bus stop before you write an offer. I check this for my buyers on every rural property.

Is there bus service?

Yes. North Sanpete School District runs buses throughout the valley, including to the middle school in Moroni and the high school in Mt. Pleasant. Confirm the stop for your specific address with the district.

Can my child attend a different school?

Yes. North Sanpete accepts school choice applications for schools outside your boundary, subject to space, through its open enrollment process. Some families apply to Moroni Elementary for its two-way Spanish–English dual immersion program. There are currently no charter schools in North Sanpete School District.

How do the schools perform academically?

I point families to the Utah School Report Card, the state's own yearly data on test scores, growth and graduation rates. Then visit the school. At a school this size, you'll likely meet the principal the first time you walk in.

What about special education, 504 plans and IEPs?

North Sanpete School District provides special education services and 504 plans. If you're moving with an IEP or 504 plan, contact the district before you move so services carry over without a gap.

Do schools affect home values in Fountain Green?

Not within town. Every Fountain Green home feeds the same schools. What moves value here is lot size, water rights and water shares, outbuildings, condition, and how close you are to town versus out on ranch ground.
