Living in Fairview, Utah

I live in Milburn, just outside Fairview, on 3.5 acres with water, and I've called this corner of Sanpete County home for eight years. If you're thinking about moving here, this is the page I'd want you to read first: what everyday life in Fairview actually looks like.

Small town, real community

Fairview sits at the north end of Sanpete Valley. It's the kind of place where people wave from the truck and know which neighbor has the extra irrigation turn. Many families here live on acreage, with room for a big garden, animals, a shop or just space to breathe.

Groceries and errands

For a full grocery run, Fairview families head to Ridley's in Mt. Pleasant, a short drive south. For bigger shopping trips, Spanish Fork is about 45 minutes away.

Parks and getting outside

  • Lions Park: the go-to spot in town for picnics and playtime.
  • Rodeo Grounds Park on the south end of town, with pickleball and tennis courts.
  • Keller Arena, a local favorite for horse and arena events.

Fairview doesn't have a splash pad or ball fields, so families who want those usually plan trips to nearby towns.

Where locals eat

  • Home Plate
  • Jose's
  • Corner Station Deli
  • T-Cee's Dari Freez, a classic small-town stop for a shake or a burger
  • Dr. Inks

Schools

Fairview students are served by Fairview Elementary and North Sanpete Middle and High School. See my full Fairview Schools guide for details.

Neighborhoods to know

  • Skyline Mountain Resort: mountain cabins and recreation property above Fairview.
  • Milburn: a rural area just outside town, where I live, with acreage properties.

Buying land with water in Fairview

Acreage with water rights and water shares is my specialty. Water can make or break the value of a rural property here, so I help buyers understand exactly what comes with a property before they make an offer. Read more in my guide to Fairview water rights and shares.

Thinking about a move to Fairview?

I'd love to help you find the right fit, whether that's a home in town, a cabin at Skyline or land with water.
